Mouth by MouthWest started as a joke, a parody of the outstanding festival with a similar name. The MXMW concert series is a fundraiser for HAAM, the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians and is produced by Authentic Smiles Dental Studio. Austin is known as a creative cultural center with musicians as the core. The mission of Health Alliance for Austin Musicians is to provide access to affordable health care for Austin’s low income, uninsured working musicians, with a focus on prevention and wellness. HAAM helps preserve Austin as a healthy incubator of creativity.
