Mia Townsend, Dental Hygienist, Office Director
Mia has been practicing dentistry for over 20 years and received her dental hygiene licensure from The University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. She thrives on continually building her knowledge of dentistry through advanced continuing education in periodontal, neuromuscular, orthodontic and systemic therapy. Mia’s passion for dentistry and genuine regard for her patients drive her to implement the absolute best of care in all aspects of the field, from administrative to chairside. Mia is proud to say she has been with Authentic Smiles, one of the most highly regarded dental offices in Austin, since 2007. Mia enjoys tennis, softball, snow skiing, diving, horses, traveling and spending time with her daughter, Eden.
Kyanna Floyd, Dental Hygienist
Kyanna was born and raised in South Texas and graduated from Jourdanton High School, which is located in a small town south of San Antonio. After graduating high school, she continued her education and obtained a liberal arts degree from a community college in San Antonio. Kyanna then went on to earn her Dental Hygiene degree from Coastal Bend College in Beeville. Always with a smile and a kind word, Kyanna loves working with the Authentic Smiles team and helping all her patients receive optimum dental care. During Kyanna’s free time, she likes to spend time with her 3 fur babies, family, and friends.
Brianna Cabazos, Dental Assistant
Brianna joined our Authentic Smiles team in June 2020. She started her journey in dentistry with the desire to help others love their smiles. Brianna’s passion and knowledge expands from general dentistry to orthodontics, oral surgery, implantology, neuromuscular, sleep apnea and much more! When Brianna’s not in the office changing lives, she’s outside being adventurous either paddle boarding or hiking new trails in Austin.
