Samera Owhadian, DMD
Originally from Houston, Texas, Samera Owhadian, DMD developed an interest in dentistry as a child while accompanying her aunt to lectures at Baylor College of Dentistry. This interest was cultivated further as a student at Houston's prestigious DeBakey High School for Health Professions. She later attended The University of Texas at Austin, where she was awarded the degree of Bachelor of Science in Human Development & Family Sciences.

Dr. Owhadian graduated student body President from The University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey, where she was recognized with academic and clinical honors including the Alumni Leadership Award, the American Association of Women Dentists Distinguished Service Award, and the NJ Dental School Student Leadership Award. Following graduation, Dr. Owhadian completed an advanced training General Practice Residency at Houston's Memorial Hermann Hospital via the University of Texas Dental Branch, with emphasis on hospital and sedation dentistry, and a focus on the treatment of the medically complex and special needs population.

Dr. Owhadian is licensed as a general dentist by the Texas State Board of Dentistry. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, the Capital Area Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Owhadian is loved by her patients for her sensitivity, compassion and attention to detail. She also enjoys staying current on the latest advancements in dentistry and incorporates many of these techniques into her daily clinical practice.
