Reckless Kelly Softball Jam

With over 10,000 expected attendees, and major media coverage pre and post-event, the 2nd Annual Reckless Kelly Celebrity Softball Jam is set for Sunday, 2pm, April 25th, at the Dell Diamond in Round Rock.

Proceeds will be shared between three community-oriented causes: the Miracle Leagues at both Town & Country and San Antonio and their belief that "Every Child Deserves a Chance to Play Baseball," and Little League of Austin and its teams, fields and facilities in need of support.

Health Alliance for Austin Musicians

Austin is the "Live Music Capital of the World," yet many professional working musicians are self-employed and rarely have access to health insurance.
Without insurance, they can't afford preventive health care, including primary medical care, basic dental services and mental health counseling.

The mission of the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians is to provide access to affordable health care for Austin's low income, uninsured musicians, focusing on prevention and wellness.

Art & Music Partnership (AAMP)

AAMP - The Austin Art and Music Partnership's mission is to nurture and protect the creative process for local artists.

They provide support to the artist with the basics to work: space and resources, as well as office space to a number of organizations aiming to help the local community:

Art space: painting, sculpting, music and plays oh my! We give your project a place to be.

Incubator space: Getting through that vulnerable start up phase needs support. We help keep the wolves back and the lights on.

Workshop space: Share what you got, get what you share. Our workshops are as diverse as our population with creativity as the common denominator.

Co-working space: Wi-fi and amplify. Bring your laptop, your guitar or both! Put some work time in outside of your own bubble with other creatives.

Human Rights Campaign (HRC)

The Human Rights Campaign is America’s largest civil rights organization working to achieve lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender equality.

HRC seeks to improve the lives of LGBT Americans by advocating for equal rights and benefits in the workplace, ensuring families are treated equally under the law and increasing public support among all Americans through innovative advocacy, education and outreach programs. HRC works to secure equal rights for LGBT individuals and families at the federal and state levels by lobbying elected officials, mobilizing grassroots supporters, educating Americans, investing strategically to elect fair-minded officials and partnering with other LGBT organizations.
